"Ride Like The Wind" was a cover version of the 1980 hit by Christopher Cross. East Side Beat's version of the track reached #3 in the UK charts in December 1991. The dance act would act two other minor hits - "Alive And Kicking" (UK #26, December 1992) & "You're My Everything" (UK #65, May 1993).

Giga Hits '95
From 1995, "Giga Hits '95" is a German compilation featuring hits from that year. Bizarrely it's labeled as "Mr.Bean Presents Giga Hits 95" and featured a CD-rom element with a 12 minute "The Best Of Mr.Bean" video highlighting silly moments from the comedy character.

Salt 'N' Pepa - You Showed Me
From 1991, "You Showed Me" was taken from Salt 'N' Pepa's 1990 album "Blacks' Magic". It also featured on their 1991 "Greatest Hits" album. Follow-up to the huge hit "Let's Talk About Sex", the track was a moderate success around the world, reaching #47 in America, #24 In Australia, #15 in the UK, and #13 in Germany.

From 1989, this was the title track of Samantha Fox's 3rd album "I Wanna Have Some Fun". The track was produced by Full Force, who had also produced the 1988 hit "Naughty Girls (Need Love Too)". The song peaked at #8 in the U.S. charts, #10 in Canada, but unfortunately only #63 in the UK.

Zoë - Lightning
From 1991, this was the 2nd single released by Zoë, taken from the album "Scarlet, Red and Blue". The track was the follow-up to the top ten hit "Sunshine On A Rainy Day" (a remix of which appeared as the b-side to "Lightning") but couldn't match its success and peaked at #37 in the UK charts in November of that year. A 3rd single "Holy Days" was released in 1992, but only managed to reach #72 in the UK charts.
In 1996, Zoë re-emerged with a totally revamped image, style and sound. Her new album, "Hammer" was released to rave reviews in the UK. The title track was released as a single, but failed to even reach the top 75.

Grace Jones vs Funkstar De Luxe - Pull Up To The Bumper
Martin Ottesen AKA 'Funkstar De Luxe' remixed Grace Jones 1981 hit 'Pull Up To The Bumper' in 2000. It was a top 5 dance hit. He'd had a hit the previous year with a remix of the Bob Marley track 'Sun Is Shining'. The b-side of the track was "Pingüino".
