Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe

From 1994, Rednex released a cover version of the song 'Cotton-Eyed Joe' renaming it 'Cotton Eye Joe'. The track performed well in the charts reaching #1 in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Austria and New Zealand, #8 in Australia, #10 in France and #25 in the US.

Two further singles were released in 1995 after 'Cotton Eye Joe's' success - 'Old Pop In An Oak' and 'Wild N Free'. These two tracks though couldn't match the success of their catchy debut.
