From 1986, "My Favourite Waste Of Time" was taken from Owen Paul's "As It Is" album. The track was a cover version of a song that was originally written and recorded by American singer-songwriter, Marshall Crenshaw.

"My Favourite Waste Of Time" peaked at #3 in the UK Charts. Owen Paul released three further singles from the album, "Pleased To Meet You" (UK #78), "One World" (UK #87) and "Mad About The Girl" (UK #92).
