From 1985, 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' is a great 80's dance movie. The title is taken from the Cyndi Lauper song of the same name, but the version in the movie isn't sung by her. Instead a cover of the song by unknowns Deborah Galli, Tami Holbrook, and Meredith Marshall is featured but they actually manage to make the song their own.
The movie stars a young Sarah Jessica Parker, Helen Hunt and an even younger Shannon Doherty. It's a great fun film, and the soundtrack is full of little known great 80's tracks! Listen to 'Q-Feel - Dancing In Heaven.' It'll be in your head for days! Although the movie wasn't a huge hit it is well remembered by those who saw it, and it's become one of those cheesy 80's movies that you just have to see! So if you've never seen it, track it down and take a look!

Love the soundtrack! I saw the movie in it's theatrical release and knew that early that SJP and HelenHunt would be big stars someday. Thanks for the memories!
I can't stop listening to this, I love Shout, Dancing In Heaven & Technique. I keep wanting to put on my leg warmers and dance!
