John "Jellybean" Benitez is a drummer, guitarist, songwriter, DJ, remixer and music producer of Puerto Rican descent. Benitez is known for producing Madonna Ciccone's first hits and for his relationship with her. He was a prolific remixer in the 80s, providing remixes for many 80's hits.
In 1987 he released "Just Visiting This Planet". This collaboration album featured the vocal talents of Elisa Fiorillo, Steven Dante and Adele Bertei. Four singles were released from the album, "The Real Thing", "Who Found Who", "Just A Mirage" and "Jingo".
