D.M. Johnson - I Say A Little Prayer

From 1993, this was an uptempo cover version of the 1968 hit by Aretha Franklin. I know very little about D.M. Johnson. I was always under the impression that D.M. Johnson was a female singer, but doing a bit of "googling" I find that the "D.M." actually stands for David Michael, so the very female sounding vocals are (I presume) male! Despite being a fantastic dance track, the song failed to chart and wasn't a hit.
